Why RydeCamp

A trip-planning resource built around the questions riders actually ask.

Off-road weekends are usually planned across maps, campground websites, group posts, permit pages, and event calendars. RydeCamp connects those decisions without pretending every detail comes from the same source.

Find campgrounds that fit the trip

Compare location, rig needs, amenities, nearby riding, and current public details before you call or book.

Connect the planning pieces

Move from Trail Systems and official links to campgrounds, events, State Riding Laws, and Trip Planner.

Know what still needs confirmation

RydeCamp distinguishes reviewed information from the access, permit, closure, and safety details you should verify.

  • Tell us when information is unclear, incomplete, incorrect, or difficult to use.
  • Confirm critical trail, access, legal, weather, and booking details with official sources.
  • Give the team enough context to understand the problem you found.

Review photos, booking links, and event information.

Represent the campground accurately without paying to claim it.

Better information for riders

FAQ

Questions before you apply.

The private beta should feel clear before you share your time or campground information.

What is RydeCamp?

RydeCamp helps off-road travelers discover campgrounds, explore Trail Systems, find events, review available State Riding Laws information, and organize trips.

Who should apply for the private beta?

Riders with a real destination or trip to plan and Campground Owners who want to review a listing are the best fit. Applications are reviewed before access is approved.

Is it free to claim a campground listing?

Yes. An eligible Campground Owner can claim and verify an existing listing at no cost. Paid plans are optional and separate from the claim process.

Do I need a paid membership to participate?

No. Free Founding Rider is $0/month, and campground claims are free. Paid options add the features shown in Membership Center.

What does Founding pricing mean?

Eligible Founding pricing is permanently reserved for the same account. If you cancel and return later with that account, your Founding rate remains available.

Is every feature finished?

No. This is a private beta. Available features should work, but some information and workflows are still being improved with member feedback.

Does RydeCamp replace official trail or legal sources?

No. Riders should confirm permits, closures, trail access, road use, weather, and legal requirements with the responsible official source before a trip.
